Winter has been amazing and even though we all are embracing spring right now, I still can’t get over some of the fashion trends that have come in for AW17. These are some of the AW17 trends that I hate bidding farewell to.
The velvet fabric was a huge hit for this years A/W seasons. We went through a time where it was #velveteverything or should we say #velvetwaseverything. The sheer rich fabric was great for a luxurious, classy look and created some of the best outfits that we have seen this year. I personally loved how the trend transformed from velvet clothing, to accessories and shoes too! I am forever grateful for the velvet trend!
I recall my mother telling me how trendy bell sleeves were back in the 80’s, it clearly was one of those unforgettable trends. Bell sleeves are one of my favorites because it gave off such an edgy appearance to simple dresses and tops and has the ability to revolutionize a simple garment into a statement piece.
The Glass Heel Boot
Lets be honest, the glass heel boot had to make this list for these 3 important reasons:
- COMFORT: The block heel gives you balance and allows you to be comfortable even on those long shopping spree days.
- TRENDY: I love the fact that these are so trendy, fashionable and adding so much edge to complete an outfit.
- VERSATILITY: I love that that these pair of boots work with jeans, skirts and dresses. This type of boot complements a casual outfit during the day as well as a glam outfit for an evening which is the perfect edition to your shoe closet.
So here we have it, these are definitely my favorite AW17 trends that I still cant seem to let go of and are still in front row of my closet. What about you? What were your favorites for this AW17? Comment below and let me know 🙂 Till next time. Ciao! xx
